Hello! I'm Amber Heiser, I’ve played volleyball for over a decade and have coached for nine seasons at Belusa United. I am also the 'Club Designer' since 2015. I design our t-shirts / spirit wear, this website, part of our social media, marketing materials and more. 

 

I played 4 years at Lyons Township High School, 6 years of club volleyball, Belusa VBC being my final club team of which I played alongside Coach Nikki. I was recruited by Robert Morris University Illinois - Chicago during my final season with Belusa and also became a part of the Belusa coaching staff. After two seasons, I decided to focus on my athletic-academic responsibilities and took a break from coaching.

 

2010: I graduated from RMU cum laude and a BAS in Graphic Arts.

2010-2013: I launched my own clothing brand, Star Struct Clothing Co. while working retail, freelancing and contracting design work.

2014: I married my high school sweetheart of 10 years (on our anniversary!)

2015: I returned to Belusa United to coach Spring season

2016-2021: I coached as Head Coach and/or Assistant to all ages between 14-18.

2021-Present:

Outside of coaching, I'm a wife and a mom (est. January 2021)!

Full time, I'm a graphic designer at Power Wellness which is the leading wellness management company in the fitness industry. I'm also known as a 'Jack of all trades', which I offer multiple creative services. Besides coaching, I design and manage all of Belusa's marketing materials, website, spirit wear, and our club's seasoned portraits. I've had high standard goals and dreams for Belusa outside of coaching. Even though I'm not actively coaching this season, I am striving to help Belusa build bigger and better things for our members. One of which being a 24/7 online merch store! :)

 

Honestly, I always had an idea of where my path in life was headed, but if it weren’t for volleyball, I wouldn’t have had the amazing opportunities that brought me to where I am today and be the person, player and coach that I am.
